Past Post Commander - Air Force
It is with a heavy heart that we have to report that one of our Past Post Commanders, Willian Jones, has been called to the Lord. Billy joined the Air Force and served in Vietnam. After his enlistment ended, Billy "Superman" Jones, joined the VFW, where he became a valued member, who was always there, to volunteer his services, make us all laugh, but most of all, Billy was a valued friend. Billy held most of the Officer positions and like his father Willian R. Jones in 1968, Billy was elected Post Commander in 2010. With his white hair and beard, Billy was a no brainer to be Our Post's Christmas Tree Salesman. A job he did every year! Billy was a member of Our Post's Color Guard for years. He was one of the main recruiters and trainers, and was on the Winning Color Guard that won the Award at the 2016 NJ VFW Convention. Rest in Peace Billy! Until we all meet again.
