Brigantine Memorial Post No. 6964 News

July 29, 2021

Hello from Base Camp V!

Just a few items for this week.

Well, we have reached the end of July.  Why is it that as soon as we pass the 4th., July always seems to zip by? The weather has been hot and humid and hopefully we will catch a break in August. Let's hope that the last month before school starts is as beautiful as ever.

It is with a heavy heart that we have to report that one of our World War II members has been called to the Lord. Charles "Buzzy" Newkirk, was a valued member, who was always there, to volunteer his services, make us all laugh and most of all a valued friend.  Rest in Peace Buzzy!  Until we all meet again.

Brigantine Memorial Post No. 6964 is Open to All VFW Members and their Guests, from 12 noon, every day. We look forward to having our visiting VFW Members and their Families, stop in for some good food and refreshments, while staying in the Brigantine area.  It's a great way to meet new or old members.
